The October 2008 Desktop Calendars are now available from the Warbird Depot website; http://www.warbirddepot.com/desktop_calendars.asp

This month includes:

1. Brian Sanders flying the family's Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 "Argonaut" over Eagles Nest airport in Ione, CA. One in a long line of Sea Furies rebuilt and operated by Sanders Aeronautics "The Sea Fury Kings" over the years.
2. The Commemorative Air Force's historic Douglas A-26B Invader "Lady Liberty", one of the few A-26's with WWII combat history, over the Texas oil fields at the 2007 FINA-CAF Airshow in Midland, TX.
3. Air Marshall Cliff Spink (aka Herr Spink) flying Spitfire Ltd's Hispano HA-1112-M1L Buchon during the 2008 Flying Legends Airshow at Duxford Airfield, U.K.
4. Mike DeMarino taking off in the Friedkin families Vought F4U-4 Corsair at the 2008 Planes of Fame Airshow in Chino, CA.
5. Bill "Tiger" Destefani rounding pylon 2 in his highly modified N.A. P-51D Mustang "Strega" on his way to his 7th Unlimited Gold Race Championship at the 2008 National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.
6. John Muszala taking off in KILO-6's beautiful Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat "Bad Kitty" for an evening photo shoot with two other Tigercats at the 2008 National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.
7. Cam Harrod on final in his rare Fleet 16R Finch at the Tiger Boys Fly-In at Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
8. Jon Sharp rounding pylon 2 in his record setting NXT "Nemesis" (qualifying at 409.297 mph) on the way to a first place finish in the Sport Class 'Super Sport Gold' race, at a speed of 392.252 mph, during the 2008 National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.
9. Steve Hinton taking off in the Planes of Fame Air Museum's Canadair T-33 Silver Star "Pacemaker", with Bob Cardin in the back seat, at the 2008 National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.
10. 410 (TFT) Squadron, 4 Wing, CFB Cold Lake, AB CF-188 Hornet 188703 landing at Toronto's LBPIA after its demonstration flight at the 2008 Canadian National Exhibition Airshow.
11. A Martinair B-767-300ER landing on runway 33L at Toronto's LBPIA.
12. Torquil Norman's de Havilland DH.84A Dragon III landing at the 2008 Flying Legends Airshow at Duxford Airfield, U.K.
