Something I've been working on for a friend of mine. Not done yet, but its getting pretty close. What do you guys think i should do as a finishing coat? GLOSS OR FLAT??!?! :shock: :P :twisted:

How many of you would be interested in something like this?:wink:

If it's just a dispaly piece (or your buddy has really big pockets!) I'd finish it in FUTURE instead of some other painted on coating-

Or, is his plan to use it when he quits his job? "Stick it boss, I got me a twell dolla seegar" :wink:

I don't think the paint would hold up to regular carrying and use. Most Zippos are engraved.
I do have a Zippo that was carried on the first flight of the XB-70. It is packed away somewhere......

Pretty much done. Still have to apply the few final clear coats.
