I was wondering if anyone has any photos and/or info on color schemes of CVL-29 BATAAN's Hellcats during WWII? I am also looking for info about squadron VF-47,the FIGHTING COCKS. if anyone has a photo of the patch or any image showing it, I would greatly appreciate it.

The book "Color Schemes and Markings U.S.NAvy Aircraft 1911-1950" by Bill C. Kilgrain has the tail markings for every squadron assigned to CVE, CVL, CV carriers. The markings illustrated are in B&W and are artist drawings. CVL-29 is at the bottom of page 75.
