Vlado needs to be topped for the P-51 ride. Who's up for the challenge?
Remember there are models of the A/C and a Memory Book that is included.
I believe they are also going to add a T-6/SNJ ride online as well. At the last Benefit the T-6 ride didn't get a bid at $75 so they are talking of adding that online as well. Just e-mail a bid to benspowerplay64@comcast.net.
Here is the T-6 Certificate-

And some sample pages from the T-6/SNJ Memory Book-
Jim Beasley Sr flew this SNJ off of the Carl Vinson in 1995 over off of the coast of Hawaii.

A couple of pages of the P-51 Book-

If you want to see more you'll have to out bid Vlado.

Bald Eagle only has a bench to ride on. No controls in the back.

Jim was having fun up at Millville in Bald Eagle.
You could have some fun with a flight in her as well.
Remember, here near Philly it's Bid Early and Bid Often. (You know how politics are around here)

One thing that we could do in the T6 is if whoever wins has some experience and wants some advanced acro work (spins, buffet work, etc.) I'll be happy to do that too. Remember this is for a paralyzed boy so it's good karma

Was going to bid until I read the height and weight limits. I'm 6'6" and 250 and rode in the rear seat of Bill Dause's Mustang with no apparent problem.
Oh well...

Mudge the large

Jack-
Thanks for forwarding those pics of the original BE.
They helped make the book complete.

If you have have sent a bid after clicking on the link in the 1st post please let me know.
Somehow I left a L out and it should be benspowerplay@comcast.net instead of powerpay.
Let me know by PM and I'll enter the bids for you.

Just back from the Golf Outing for The Ben Stear Fund. The golfers are on the course dodging rain drops and mist but having a great time.
Currently Vlado has been outbid and the P-51 flight is up to $1050.
WIXer Chunks is at the front on the T-6 flight at $150.
The dinner starts at 6pm with the final bid amounts announced right after.
Thanks for all who have supported Ben and his family with prayers and donations.
Rich

Just returned from the Ben Stear Fundraiser.
They probably had 80-90 golfers participate even with the rain.
A couple of weeks ago another Charity Golf Tournament in the area raised $9800 and Pat Farley along with his brothers presented Ben and his family with the Proceeds from the Farley Open.
Ben is seated with the Blue hat on with the green striped shirt.
Image
Regardless of the circumstances, it is pretty cool that a 15 yo has his own beer.
Image
Image
I hyped this event up with many photos, books and magazines to generate interest. I even had a slide show of Bald Eagle photos going.
Image
All this got Vlado off the hook as he was out bid at $1050. A local got the P-51 flight.
For the T-6 Flights a couple of WIXers stepped up. A-36 bid $350 and Jim Harley bid $300.
To those that got out bid, remember that donations can be made at benstear.org.
Early calculations estimate that around $11000 was raised today.
Thanks so much for your interest.
Rich
