Awesome birthday present!

I'm about to turn 50, and I still haven't had a P-51 ride. . .

Dean the jealous (is it tacky to be jealous of a 12 year old?)

Try to answer all the questions
Joseph has been flying since he was 3 weeks old when we made the mistake of taking him 900 miles in an Aerostar to pick up my Extra 300L. When he was 12 months old I used to take him up in a ASK-21 on my lap, he would fly it for a bit then fall asleep. Something about the wind noise did it every time. He graduated to the L-2 and he loved to fly over smokestacks and look down into them. Now he likes the Arrow the most I think because he thinks it is easier to learn in sitting next to me instead of behind me. On his 9th birthday he rolled the Extra but the flight was cut short due to a 9 year old bladder and too much iced tea for lunch. I think he is taking it easy and since he has experienced some of my friends tragedies he felt he had to be 12 to go.

Anyway the other tradition is he gets picked up from school in my other V-12. The crowd at school gets 20 kids deep before it's time to go. Image
I have to admit it's kind of fun to be parked in between all of the SUV's with a Lamborghini.
