If you think this country needs a revolution, you are sadly mistaken. It was that kind of thinking in the 60's that got us as screwed up as we are now. Used to be the number one power in the world. Thanks to college kids wanting revolution, we are third string in most things. Thanks but no thanks. We have a pretty dam* good setup in this country. Just a bunch of liberal crybabies, and conservative extremists think they are always right. Ain't so. This government has worked well for over 230 years. If it wasn't for career politicians and the idiots in the 60's, it would still be pretty great. Nowhere else on earth do you have the freedoms you have here. PERIOD. There are some here, and others there, but we still are the best.

Well, so far its a 50/50 on this one.

Robbie, would you ever watch this movie for me? Im certainly NOT trying to start a quarrel or ever try and change your opinion, (just not my style), but wouldn't you want to be able to say "Yeah I've seen what the other side has to say, and I've even seen what they think is there best evidence, and I think its still "?

My pot-head friend gave me a copy of the film. He loved it. He smokes alot of pot. I believe that is the films target audience. (Notice the windows screen saver like colors that are used to fade in between segments.)

If you think this movie is enlightening than I've got a bridge you can buy.

I never made it past the 9/11 section before the disc magically flew across the room into the garbage can and broke itself in two...

It is poorly made piece of propoganda (the editing is a joke, the references and sources a joke aswell) Just about every sound bite and film clip is taken out of context. The film maker simply used the tools at their disposal to express their opinion and present it as fact.

If the film piqued your interest in the subject areas, do your own independant research. Dont believe everything you see on the Internet.

All I can tell you if head to your local library and start reading, reading, reading. Theological history books, Basic physics books, and political history books may give you a more well rounded opinion with which to analyze the film.

Right, never believe anything blindly. Always make your own assumption. But I still believe that this movie holds water. I guess im just that ignorant.

By "go an do some research" I dont mean just read the traditional "status quo" type texts. There is plenty of traditional and non traditional info out there that argues both for and against the information presented in the film.

I didnt mean to imply you were ignorant. Just trying to explain my feelings about the film. You asked for opinions and I gave ya mine

I just think it is important to keep in mind that the film maker had a message that they wanted to convey to their audience. (Just as most authors, film makers, politicans, etc do). It is up to you to decide wether they are "right" or "wrong".

Nope - much better to gather information, analyse it, draw conclusions. 'assumption' doesn't mean what I think you think it means.

Unfortunately humans seem to be hard-wired to work in reverse to the logical system above. We all love to take a position or conclusion and then grab evidence that supports it and ignore the stuff that doesn't. Not a smart route. It's quite easy to 'prove' irrefutably any number of absurdities. They're useful to learn how to spot flaws in arguments and differentiate between reliable and unreliable sources.

Being able to work stuff out isn't hard - but most people don't bother.
