my pics from last year at the museum in Calgary; cool place. The Museum of the Regiments down the street was very interesting as well.

Hi Tom! I just brought back some of my old Air Classics magazines and found the Banshee in the October '75 issue, page 12. Looks like it could be the same plane minus the tail feathers, but it was located at the Air Harbor airport (KW88) near Greensboro, North Carolina. Is that where your friend found it? The wings were nearby at the time. I could scan the page and PM it if you don't have the issue.

I used to play on a F2H-2P "Photo Banshee" in a Howell Park located in Baton Rouge. This was many moons ago.

There also is/was a (ex51FG) P-80B-1-LO in Jordan Park in the BR area.Image

Neither of these are in the registry.

yep..... still their to this day. it's a real sad scenario, vandals, the crappy ohio weather. all slowly sinking in the muck. the owner, who is a real nice & respectable guy just needs to sh*t or get off the pot. in this economy i'm sure he could use the money.

Tom,

I promised the owner not to publish the photos nor the location, until he gave me his permission....

Saludos,
