While volunteering at the museum yesterday, they were plenty of seats available on the behind the scenes tour to restoration. If planning on visiting the museum on a Friday, and interested in seeing the Swoose and the Belle, you can call in and reserve a spot if not yet filled for that day.

Air Classics arrived in today's mail and has a few photos (one dated Jun 42) that appears to show the Swoose artowrk, OD paint, and ventral gun tub. Am I wrong or isn't that the look most folks were hoping to see in the finished restoration?

is there anybody who is closely associated with the museum that posts here?? maybe we could get some behind the scenes shots of the swoose and the belle?? anybody got a buddy they could call?? on another note, what has happened to the swamp ghost situation?? is it just a write off at this point?? what a fiasco that all turned into. i think she would have been better off left in the swamp at this point. my 2 cents........
