Just last Friday, after helping my boss with finishing up an annual, we went for a good 'ole fashioned Stearman ride! It was a real treat for me because I had helped with the whole annual, and I got to know the GORGEOUS airplane, and learned alot of how annuals are done, with compression checks ect... We did the annual as part of the deal, where the airplane was just sold to a very nice man in Nebraska, and Wayne (my boss) is flying the airplane out to Kearney, Nebraska sometime this week.

Enough blabbering, here's the pics!!!

The plane all torn apart...

I like how the trailing edge and the point in the wing make a pretty unique shape here...

Sorry about the dust spots, not a whole lot of editing.

Hope you enjoyed!!!

Beautiful airplane.

In the 1st pic background, is that a yellow Pitts S1 with a Prince propeller?

Nice plane, one of these days I hope to get lucky to catch a ride in one. Looks brand new!

Great pics of a gorgeous airplane! Very, very nice!

I got to go for a ride in a 1940 Waco UPF7 a few years ago. Open cockpit flying is a real kick!

Cheers!
