Well, I cannot speak for others but speaking personally I was certainly not intending to bitch or politick or swordfight....or whatever! I have no interest in such things.

My intention was entirely honourable in merely trying to head off an individual who has been laying into someone who, worldwide, has done more than any other for the world of Spitfire's and the preservation and restoration of the type internationally. Unfortunately, another party hi-jacked Bill Greenwood's thread and I felt I needed to comment given some of the posts here.

Bill, I wish you and your wonderful Spitfire the very best of luck. Not sure....but there may be some items on your aeroplane that originated through me many years ago!
