4-ship? Was the F-22 flying with them?

BTW, great pics Vlado. Nice that you could get a few off while leading the formation.

yep, the F-22 joined them after finishing up his demo, they were holding off to the southwest, if i knew better how to use my camera i would have got an amazing picture of them framed against the hancock center, but alas i'm still learning.

Awful lot of fun having the F-4 on the wing. I wish I could just turn on the autopilot and stare. With the primary job of flying (!), all I could get were these few snap shots.....nothing posed or composed.
We shot a few pix while in the airshow holding pattern and a few more on the way back from show center to Gary airport.
One time in the hold today, I turned tight to stay inside the airshow TFR; the F-4 crowed he had to use max burner to keep up.......GAWD!! 1700' AGL over the city......musta sounded fabulous to good citizens below!! American Airpower at its classic best!

Great photos!

I watched the Blue Angels practice Thursday and Friday on the roof of our building. I haven't been to the air show in about 12 years, when I still lived in the city. I didn't know they ever had anything vintage flying. There are so many people that go. They said 3.1 million people on the news. Too many people for me, with (usually) no warbirds.

I did see the B-1 flying around overhead yesterday though.

Helllllooooo nurse!!!!

Vlado, thanks for the new desktop photos... the echelon formation from the cockpit of the P-51 is nothing short of brilliant.

Cheers,
