Can't figure out your reference to BEECH, but I know Boeing is very careful to correct people who want to refer to the 'Boeing DC-3', no, it is called the DOUGLAS DC-3 or the North American P-51, if it's not part of Boeings direct heritage they steer clear of revisionist theories and histories of the lineages of the newest divisions.
In the Boeing magazine FRONTIERS each month they include a two page article highlighting another divisions past glories. A couple of months ago they covered the DC-8 and prior to that the D-558-1 SKYSTREAK and gave all props to the people who developed and built those wonderful aircraft without thumping their own tub-

Ever hear of a Beechcraft A36?
Just a joke on the nomenclature.

Doesn't keep them from saying "Boeing F-15E".

I notice the Blue Angels F-18s also proudly sport a Boeing logo.
A couple of years ago I picked up a newly-released model kit of a Douglas A-26 Invader, and it had a little Boeing logo on the box saying "Officially Liscenced Product." But that's a whole other debate...

Thank you Randy I was worried I was getting to 'deep' for my wix counterparts.
A few threads ago I suggested a A-36A be registered with a A-36 dataplate. Who'd know

NO, props as in proper respect to those who designed and built the aircraft, you need to get out of the house more often-
And I'm sorry Randy that I didn't pick up on the Beech A 36 until after I'd submitted the post. I forgot about the Bonanza version that people really fly, not like the forktailed doctor killer that seems to be flown by Casper Milquetoast 'ok, 34 miles after takeoff, guess we can retract the gear now' '251 miles till landing, better take up the destination runways heading now' 'nothing over a 6 degree bank' 'do my gray pinstripe shorts clash with my Hathaway shirt and blue bankers tie?'

Randy,
Two words "Lockheed F-16?"
And technically the FA-(E) -18 should correctly be called the Northrop/McDonnell Douglas Hornet

Excellent picture, Jack!! Are there many photos of the Collings Apache restoration? I saw one late last year, but that was about it.

I just have pictures of the vintage ones. I did post some photos a while back of John Paul's 'B' Mustang though.
