Okay, we all know that Hellcats and Mustangs and Mitchells rule, but what would you like to see on the Warbird circuit?

Here's a few of mine:

Skycrane
A-7
Seasprite
F2H

I am kinda partial because we have a family relative that was a Tech rep for Curtiss Wright during the war. After he went over to McDonnell and had his hands on the FH-1 and the later F2h. We have a bunch of company photos of both airplanes and a few manuals.

I would love to see one around the circut.

P-43. If you insist on something that actually exists, then I vote for a B-58.

That would be so cool if the Mid-Atlantic Museum did up their C-119 as a gunship! Hey Russ! :)

It would be cool if they did anything to their C-119. :? A great museum, with some cool airplanes though.

Jim Smith, up in Montana, has one. Rebuilt by Ezell Aviation. I believe the next Warbird Digest is going to have it on the cover, along with a big article on it and other toys that belong to Mr. Smith. You need to go get a copy...or better yet, a subscription! :D

Amen Gary! We have been looking at that frame for years in my family and hoping it gets brought back to airworthy status.

Even though it's not my favourite airplane of all time I'd really like to see a Beaufighter. I think that would be a unique airplane to see and hear.

I'll agree with that. Seeing and hearing the CWH's Lancaster for the first time in 2006 was something else. It's odd seeing something as big as a bomber flying, but it sounds like several fighters.
