I saw this machine at Cavanaugh last weekend...What's her story? Plans? Numbers?
(nice set of landing gear:wink: )

I saw it in the CAF meeting thread just wondered if anyone has more info...
Thanks!

We picked it up a few months ago. Actually someone posted the ad here on WIX. We are planning a Viet Nam Veterans event on Veteran's day weekend to "unveil" the Huey. No plans for now, but I would love to have it in the air sometime.

Yes, that Huey has a lot of potential, especially with Doug, his excellent imagination, and ability to do something fun, just like they've done with the Sherman. :)

I think it'll be great to see a Cavanaugh Korea/Vietnam "Act" in the coming years with the AD, OV-1, Trojan, Caribou, OH-13, and Huey. Gives you everything for a nice Rescue mission all in one package. :)

Hello,

Can I ask this? Did the museum buy this Navy-marked Huey from Scott Kraska (Bay State Militaria)? He recently sold a Navy vet Huey.

Thanks,

Ron W.

Hello again,

Thanks very much for the Huey details. Very cool! Will she fly again?
My friends at the Ca-based "Wings & Rotors" Museum have a Seawolf under restoration to fly as well.

It would be great to see USN-marked ones in the air again!

Thanks,

Ron W.
