i was kind of disapointed at the history channel. They talked about the history of the B-25 and the Dolittle raid and all they could show is a B-26 taking off. No origional footage at all....................Any more updates on the airplane...............Last I had read here, it was in storage??

PLEASE HIRE ME! oh and please don't show B-26's taking off when you are talking about the Doolittle raid. Oh and please don't show B-17 noses when talking about B-25's...well you get the idea!

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

Just watched the raising of the B25 on the History Channel.
I most admire the folks who spent their time and money to have this rare piece of history raised from the depths and then donated it to a museum.

I so as well, but now they need to save it. Placing part of it on display is not enough. It is a rare model of the B-25, and it needs to be restored.

The last I knew of it only the nose section is in side on display, the rear fuselage is in the shop being stored. The wing and bomb bay section is stored outside uncovered and subject to aluminum thieves.
