Was sold to far easten air force by U.S. Airforce but deal was never completed.........



dont ever remember the AF having any that iv e ever seen, but im not perfect nor do i know everything!

I suspect this might be one of the A-4s that sat in a storage lot just off the base at DM (Tucson) for many years. I think these were destined for Malaysia but the deal was never completed. My memory is not so great on the details but I used to drive by them fairly often. I was surprised to hear that they all broke free a few years back with several of them winding up at Avra Valley Airport in Marana. I sure wish more a/c could "make a break for it" and escape the crunchers at AMARC. I guess it's a good thing the Iranians never had A-4s huh? . :?
