Sorry I had to leave the WIX party before most of you arrived,
but I had to go do a photo shoot with Scott Slocum. Then we
had the Bombshell girls over for dinner and drinks.

I want one of them! My first ride in a military aircraft was in a Caribou in Jan/68. The thing sure made a lot of noise!

Good to meet you at Zack's, Doug. You weren't early--everyone else was late.

Also good to see you posting again.

Digi-second: That brief period of time between putting your eye up to the camera and discovering 3 or 4 people have magically appeared in front of the aircraft you were about to photograph.

Murphy's Law of airshow photography: If there is one person standing in front of the plane you're trying to photograph, they are not allowed to move until someone else comes along to take their place.

I can really appreciate an individual who will leave a diner/party to go out into the beautiful evening to do air to air work on a great looking and unusual subject yet still have the stamina to take gorgeous photos of two young ladies who are most definately easy on the eye..how you must have suffered!!

Nice stuff, the airplane pix too!
