Gary,
Don't believe any bombers asked to be judged.

Just got back after having spent yesterday and early today at the show. It was quite amazing being able to finally meet Steve Hinton and Bob Cardin. I also had the pleasure of meeting John Muszala, who was kind enough to allow me to take some photos of the cockpit on Impatient Virgin/Evoi. After having spent almost a year now researching B/C Mustangs and trying to gather anything I can on the Malcolm hood, it was unbelievable to be able to actually climb up on it, and see it first hand. Just after noon today there was a surprise visit by a low flying B-52, which made a couple of very nice passes, while on a training mission, before heading back out.

Now I am not that great of a photographer, with just an easy to carry digital, but these are some selections from the weekend...

Spooky , good stuff as always but the sky shot through Thunderbirds nose is incredible.
And thanks for working the show as well as posting so much great stuff.

Thanks! I promise when I get myself back to Seattle and settle back in i'll go through my pictures (roughly 3,000) and post a crapload of them.

It was a pleasure meeting some of you guys and look forward to doing it again next year. The week always goes faster than you can imagine and while it's always sad that it ends my body is very thankful as it's giving out on me.

Yes, by all mean post craploads more pix.
You know, after watching this thread all week, the main forum will seem kind of dull for a while.
Catch up with some of y'all at an airshow down the road somewhere.

Safe travel home, everyone,
Doug

Doesn't look like it.

Well, i'll give one to the CAF A-26 "Lady Liberty" as it was great seeing one besides "Hard To Get" for a change and I got my $2.00 worth getting to sit in the cockpit and be bombarded with excellent info by the gentleman (name???) sitting up on top of it.
