Was down at the scareport today and checked in on my friend Jim and his Duster project. It's unbelieveable!! It needs some more dohickeyness done with the electricial system then the motor which is ready to go in. The turret is amazing and is completely operational. The thing is so clean you could eat off it!! It's a nice compliment to his M16 quad 50 half track and Jeep. I'll take some photos next time I'm down there. BTW his P-51D now has the overhauled prop back on and it ready for wixer JCW to fly her.

Pictures please. We have a Duster here at the CAF that one volunteer is working his tail off on. I know he'd love to see pictures of the one you're talking about.

I'll try and stop back down this week.
The thing is perfect and they took it down to the nub.
The hanger the Cassett was in now has a King Air in it.
I'll my friend who owns the hanger about it.

Hi Gary,
I stopped by the hanger today and took some photos I'll try and post them tomorrow. This M-42 is a show stopper!!! They need a few things though and if your guys are doing a static maybe a bit of horse trading is in order. Jim has a machine shop that has to be seen to be believed and can make a lot of stuff plus they have some extras left over. The biggest thing they need is a good "Little Joe" motor/generator for the turret. They have a very rough one take could be restored but would take a ton of work. They also have 2 spare running motors. They look like airplane engines from h*ll!

Well Jack, I just showed those pictures to Miles, our Duster guy. And he's just sick at how nice that Duster is! Thanks for posting the pictures and if possible, he'd like to get in contact with your guy.
