Great start to the week everyone! Keep it coming. Spookythecat, I especially like the sunset shot of Sugden's Fury. The nose shot of ol 927 aint half bad either.
Thanks for the update on who's there. I was glad to hear Thunderbird and Special Delivery/Doolittle Raiders made it safely. I gassed em both on Saturday.
Whose Sea Fury?

Doug

The Sea Fury is Steve Patterson's. It's currently for sale with Courtesy Aircraft.

Just amazing, thank you for the wonderful photos, Dan! Now I am just dieing to get out there even more however. :D

If Rod Lewis enters his Spitfire into the warbird judging, there will be even stiffer competition, it is quite an impressive restoration as well.

The only request that I could give you Dan, is that if you happen to catch "Impatient Virgin" with its hood open, I would love some photos like the last one you supplied of Old Crow, from the left side in particular. Any and all warbird photos of course are welcome. It is very nice to see that "Ruff Stuff" and "Lady Luck" made it to the show.

Day one and all I can say is "Wow!".

The Mustang section alone took two hours to get out of. So many unbelievable looking birds.

I've got about 800 shots to go through from today and no time to share them all yet (It's 3:10a.m.!). I can only find select shots for now. Unless I can find some spare time or I find a laptop somewhere i'm gonna have a lot of shots to go through after the show.

Enjoy these for now.

Here's a rough overview of the Warbird area. I couldn't decent shots of the Liasions and Fighters from the tower.

After seeing these pictures already taken I think my Vacation next year will be my first visit to OSH. I will be 31 so its due time to spend a week up there! Now to start saving and planning where to stay or should I just rough it at the camp site?? So many decisions and time to start planning!

That guy might be a warbirdnerd, but this Warbirdnerd won't be at OSH untill tomorrow....

Great shots though Dan. I can't decide if the sneak peaks make the wait easier or tougher...
I see Tri-State's P-51 guru got infront of your camera too...

Excellent, Steve! Well composed and contemporary-looking pics ... not that you need it, but put a wingman out there and I'd challenge anyone to tell if these are WWII shots or not ... 8)
