WIX Meeting at TOM!?

Hey everyone,

I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread on who will be attending TOM this go around. IM IN!

Has anyone thought about a meeting place and time there on the field?

I'll be there both Saturday and Sunday (in the Photo Pit).

I think we should all meet up well before the battle and before any flying starts, or just before we get kicked off the field. I guess that might not help out to much

I'm there Friday through Sunday. A WIX gathering is a necessary part of TOM! As Tim mentioned, lets try this when nothing is flying.

We'll be there Saturday only, unless the weather looks bad, then I'll switch the plans and do Sunday.

Alas, I will not be making the trip to TOM this year! First one I've missed. I was going to fly out on Tom Duffy's B-25 but then the TOM folks pulled it from the show. Now I don't have a ride. I was kind of hoping that other TBM was his.

With all of the other shows I'm doing with the Airshow Company I don't have enough vacation time to drive out on Thursday and drive back on Monday.

Oh well, everybody have a great time - I want to see photos posted!!!

Just an FYI, I have 2 rooms I'm still holding at the Comfort Inn in Belleville. If anybody is in need of rooms they both are doubles. I am holding them until the last minute in case by some stretch I could go.

Im sure I will be at the B-17 (Thunderbird) most of the time. Wasnt there a yellow announcer stand or something midway down the ramp in front of a building that was a WIX meeting place 2 years ago?

Catherine and I will be arriving Friday sometime between noon and later afternoon. We will be departing Sunday after the show. We have photo pit passes for both days.

I'll be arriving in Detroit early Friday and in town for the whole weekend ! It would really add something to the trip if I get to meet some fellow WIXers at the show

Good morning all. I will be at TOM Friday, Saturday and Sunday working in the photo pit. I hope to be at the airport by 08:00 on Friday. I will be wearing my white bush hat with black and yellow Michigan ANG Six Pack patch on the front. Stop by and say hello.
