I love going to airshows just to see what kinds of T-6/SNJ liveries show up. There is such an amazing variety of color schemes. There must be hundreds of variations....I'd love to see a collection of photos of all of them.

I've often wondered...does anyone know of a resource that has photos (a book, video, website, etc.) that shows all--or most--of the liveries worn by these trainers over the years?

Additionally, I'm wondering how many of the paint schemes we see at airshows are authentic...that is, colors that were worn during the service lives of the aircraft?

So--besides wishing I could find a good, all-encompassing color scheme resource--here's a challenge for you WIX phaboulous photographers...how about posting your T-6/SNJ photos here? If no resourse exists out there, then maybe we can compile one here on WIX!

Thanks in advance to all who contribute.

Very Nice, Tulsaboy! And I'm jealous that they're in-flight shots...so I know where you were at the time! Lucky you!

Someone once told me the main difference between Harvards and Texans/SNJs was that Harvards did not have gear doors. Yet I've seen Harvards both with, and without them. Any idea on the validity of this?

Beautiful shots Kevin...thanks for getting us off to a good start!

And of course no show is complete at Geneseo with the Candian Harvard Aircraft Association! I won't post every plane since they look just about the same, so here are the tails.

Does this count, or did you mean color on the outside of the plane?
