while this thread is about a usmc aviator, i thought this was the right place for this post. where has the economy gone?? ed macmahan.... icon sidekick of johnny carson's night show, countless commercial endorsements & tv side jobs is in danger to foreclose on his house!! what the f??? a man of his financial history squeezed out?? cripes 
where's some ramen noodles we can send him? ? ed has had an amazing career, how can this happen?? residual income from old tv clips must abound by the day!! it's a sad commentary!!

This is old news, no pun intended. He married a young bimbo who spent all his money. End of story. Kind of tired of hearing the rich whine in America when they blow their money on stupid crap, while airshows and museums have to fight to get a couple thousand dollars in sponsorship money for fuel and improvements. Hey old guys, marry someone who loves you and not your wealth. The "trophy" crap just isn't worth the money and heartache.

He was talked into into buying a huge mansion he really couldn't
afford, wanted or needed. Paying the mortgage required him to keep working even at his age. Then he broke his neck, couldn't work and the value of his place went down like a screaming meteor. Game over!! Bummer!
