For some time, a Finnish Blenheim has been in restoration. Recently, the restoration project was completed, pictures of the final journey here:

That looks like a great restoration.

I'll try get back to you guys with the translation later this week. My Finnish is a bit rusty but I should be able to this, picture by picture.( I speak the language and can read it with a bit of effort.)

Brewster has been back several months already.
Classic Wings will have a feature on the Blenheim in the next issue.

A magnificent restoration.

It's even rarer than it first appears. I think I'm right in saying it's the only British-built Blenheim left. All the other survivors are Canadian-built Bolingbrokes.

Actually, this one was built in Finland. But yes, it is the only Blenheim left, all the others are Canadian Bolingbrokes.

Awsome photos! It's always great to see a rare bird preserved. I've got a book that shows (I think) this same aircraft on outdoor display some years ago.

Don't the Finns also have the fuselage (if not the entire airframe) of a Blenhiem I in storage? Awhile back I saw someone's photos of a tour of the Finnish museum storage building, and one pic showed a short-nose Blenhiem.

Yes, it was outdoors as a Memorial from 1960-70. They have the cockpit section of a Mk.1 IIRC.

The nose was originally symmetrical. I can't remember now whether it was just plain visibility or reflections from the perspex that caused it to be changed. Whatever, they adjusted it downwards 'til it worked.
