darn this place is cold!
It's not North SLope cold, or snow cold, or even mildly winter cold.

It's just that subliminal wet cold that seeps into your bones as you sleep and makes you wake up wincing. Even Jenny the dog glares at me when I kick her out from under the covers in the morning.
I think I need to buy a sweater.
