Doesn't Bob Baker's "Sweet and Lovely" have paper mache tanks?

Yes it does: one original and one reproduction. Can you tell which is which? Bob put me to the task of trying to figure out which was which and bet me I couldn't tell the difference. I was starting to sweat…and when he wasn't looking I unscrewed the fuel fillers and the nice new shiny threads gave the new one away! He seemed real surprised and almost a little disappointed somebody actually figured it out. He asked me what gave it away. I just smiled. I never did tell him how I figured it out. He's probably still pouring over that tanking trying to find the give away. I'm sure by now those shiny threads are tarnished and the two are nearly indistinguishable...except to their mother!

Sounds like Doc’s will have paper tanks and the tail RADAR installed as well.

Sweet Job Mike! You and Dave have outdone yourselves again. I think Mustangs are getting too easy for ya...time to try something a little more difficult!

John

I've got all of them in high res but have been hesitent to throw them all up on the web at once.
I was the only one who asked Mike for the OK to post them which he gave the Ok to and he sent me some high res ones but I sensed he wanted to give the owner the opportunity to do the same.
I think in the digital age where stuff is posted while it's practictally still happening we all need to slow down a bit and and show a little respect and paticence by giving the owner a chance to share his treasure himself.
My grandpa used to say "Just because you can doesn't mean you should!"

Well said Jack!
We certainly have spoken of this type of courtesy before.
Maybe Vlado will still give us a first flight synopsis!

Jack you have really confused me this time. When I asked if this plane is "NOT" going to Rod and you said "NO" does that mean NO its not going or NO its NOT Not going? It is so confusing out there!

Well, I didn't mean to break the seal on any top secret news by wishing for some paper mache' drop tanks, but it appears that's the way some folks are taking it (got a PM or two). Sorry to the owners for wishing out loud.
