Bring Me Sunshine - Old Warden 6th July 2008

Tue Jul 08, 2008 2:29 am

Another show where the determination to enjoy some splendid aviation overcame the awful weather. You've got to hand it to the engineers, groundcrew, pilots and volunteers, despite getting blasted with wind and rain they put on a cracking show.

It would have been nice to show our guests from the Memorial Flight and Le Bourget some better weather but I'm sure they enjoyed themselves and left with a smile and some good memories. What a warm and friendly group of people.

On with the photos:

Really Great Shots, especially for those of us on this side of the Pond, who don't get to see these flying displays 'over there".
Thanks Rob for sharing.

Thanks for the comments.

The Lysander may look great but the sound it makes is something waaay better. You've got to see it whistling past as the sun's low in the sky to really get the measure of the experience.
