Great photos is an understatement!! Any idea where the photos were taken?? The old dirigible hanger in the background must look familar to someone...maybe Brooks Field TX?

The majority were taken at Langley Field, Virginia.

These can all be found HERE in varying resolution, including big stuff suitable for print. You can browse the aircraft categories,
but some images will not show up... you gotta search for some of 'em, and the search engine can be picky sometimes.

Excellent photos! What i'm curious about is, what on earth is that strapped underneath that P-82? And, I assume that P-51B is some sort of laminar flow test bed?

Wow, those are great.
That Wildcat looks slick with the spinner.

...And I have been looking for a LONG time for photos of that F4U-4B Corsair. That is the only pic I have ever seen, much smaller in the F4U in Action book.
