SOLD!!!

Let's hope the new owner puts the bird in the air, where she belongs!

The French Skyraider was sold too!

The Air Zoo's Skyraider has been old? I didn't know it was up for sale. I had only heard about the Tigercat and Bearcat.

I heard that the Air Zoo Tigercat is going to be moving down to the San Antonio area. From what I'm told however, it is not Rod Lewis, and I'm no expert on who else has a collection in that area, so if anyone knows anything...

I was also told by a museum docent that the Bearcat was sold a couple weeks ago, but I wasn't given any details on who the new owner would be.

Well, the Air Zoo's Skyraider IS ex-French Navy. I thought that's what Trey was referring to.

Not sure if anyone has been there since the Tigercat and Bearcat left the display floor, but the loss of these two aircraft really does detract from the museum.

Don't start this up again.

DEJA VU! Didn't we just go thru this a couple of months ago about a Tigercat coming to the San Antonio aea and not to Rod Lewis? Did that one ever move or this the same one? Any chance we have two coming this way not to Mr. Lewis. Doubt it as I checked my Lotto#s and it still isn't me, so that only leaves two other possibilities.

Yep, same Tigercat. I think they're doing the annual and IRAN on it in the Restoration Center now. Don't know how long until it will be ready.

OK so its getting ready to come to the SA area , and not to Rod Lewis. Now is that 100% offical or speculation, not wanting to screw up a deal until it was final? Actually there are only two other collectors in the area with the horse power to operate such an aircraft, besides me and I'm just a few dollars short now. Any contributions?
