Oh come on... we know that the A-team would just restore the planes there and fly em back

Well they would have to knock out Mr.T first though...

I don't think restore is quite the word... Ever see a B-25(um, or other aircraft...) using pieces of a bulldozer on the landing gear, and a couple acetylene cylinders for JATO thrust? I hate to imagine... Better yet, McGyver... three paperclips, a wad of chewing gum, an old inner tube, and a couple pencils, and voila- working Wright or P&W radial...

I think Mr. Dave was winging his way to Afghanistan or something. Might be a while before he is back to answer, unless they have computers over there or something.

Les Chapman Transport moved my plane. They came well recommended and seemed to do a good job.

I think the problem will be getting it to the border, not transporting it after the crossing. The Mexican movers went to the USAF Museum School of Aircraft Transportation and do a splendid job dismantling (no chainsaws, they can't afford them, they just use mauls and not the airplane type but ax type) tie down with the finest quality bailing wire and duct tape and throw in what ever they can find for dunage and packing.
