C-7's (Storage) Cape May N.J.

Thu Jun 26, 2008 1:18 am

I wish I had pics, but sadly don't. I was recently in Cape May with my family for a little vacation and was able to get out to see the great little museum down there. http://www.usnasw.org/

And the local hanger cat named "Huey" was most inviting as well. 8)

But across the street at the other WWII period hanger, more than 15 or so C-7s Caribou were sittin pretty. Have these aircraft been brought up before on WIX? I heard the owner is in the process of converting them over to turbo to breathe new life into them. But only 3 or so have been bought. '

Any info would be appreciated.
