Apologies I get the L29 anmd L39 mixed up. I was referring to the L39 with a few accidents in the past..

I don't believe he flies one of those just yet. He has made numerous references to buying one though. As far as I can tell, he only was considering obtaining one.

I'm not trying to stir up a hornets nest or start a new debate, but does anyone know if this particular L-29 had "hot" seats or not?

I looked at N5151 web page and it appears that he flies a L-39, not a -29

There was an experimental homebuilt that crashed fri evening in NJ.
The press and the FAA, doesn't take too much to confuse them.
