I would like to mass produce several hundred "fake yet realistic" EAA Airventure wristbands and mail them to anyone who owns a warbird ... that way we could get hundreds upon hundreds of warbirds to the 2008 EAA airventure show. I would also send several wristbands to anyone who owns a "General Lee" car and we could get the largest gathering of "real deal" General Lee cars. We could then have a massive photo shoot showing a General Lee car in front of every warbird and call it the greatest gathering of "General Aviation" ever .... WAIT!!! ... isn't that what they call ..... "EAA Airventure" each year? ... hehe ... :D :D :D

Dude, you're evil!

However, on a brighter note, we used to "replicate" the bronze badge pins required for entrance to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway each year. Then it got better because on race day, they had a white carboard back up badge that you affixed you bronze (spelled plastic) pin to.

In 1978 it was shaped like the State of Indiana, coincidently, exactly like the backer they used in 1968. So, what does security look for? Color, shape, and pin, no details. Yup, we had complete access for all our buddies with the total counterfit package. Oh yeah, forgot the parking passes courtesy of the library copy machine. Taped up in the tinted header of the windshield, good to go!

Wow! I was a real knob! 8)

I don't have a picture of the 2008 Wristband, but if you print up some of these and hand them out, I'm sure you will get plenty of warbirds there.
