Besides FIFI-any other fliers?

With FIFI being front and center among B-29s as a flier(eventually), are there any other B-29's that are close to flying or have plans on flying in the foreseeable future?

Let me put this another way. Does anyone realistically expect to see any B-29's besides FIFI in the air in the next few years?

How close are they to getting "Doc" undercover? Everytime I hear about severe storms in Kansas with possible hail and tornadoes I get worried.

Nobody spoke numbers, but a volunteer pinched his thumb and finger together and said they were"very close" on funding, pending a meeting in late May or June.

They said once the shelter is complete, they will be able to do more work. For instance, they mentioned they won't put the aircraft on jackstands for work until it's under cover because of the danger from wind gusts.

I was impressed with the efforts to cover the exposed openings in the aircraft to prevent birds and other intrusions. I have the same fears as you do, but it looked in good nick when I visited except for the bird droppings on the vertical stab. I've promised some photos, when I can get to them.
