The WWIIADT will be conducting our Summer Jump School July 18-27.
We will be hosting an open house July 26-27 including displays, meet and greet with our Legacy Members (Veterans), Parachute Demonstrations and Graduation Ceremony.
Here is a great chance to see a C-47 doing what it was meant to do.
We are located at Frederick Army Airfield, Frederick, Oklahoma!
You can find more info at www.wwiiadt.org

Additional veterans planning on attending:

- Mr. Ralph Manley, 501st PIR, 101st ABN
- Mr. Gene Gilbreath, HQ Co, 2nd Batt, 506th PIR, 101st ABN
- Mr. Jake McNiece, 506th PIR, 101st ABN
- Mr Don Burgett, 101st ABN
- Mr Lloyd Neblett, 301 TCS, 441 TCG

We also usually have three local troop carrier veterans that attend:

Mr. Jay Thompson
Mr. Fred Barbee
Mr. Grady Crabtree

I don't have their unit affiliations at hand, but all served with troop carrier squardrons in the European Theater of Operations.

We also usually have a significant number of "walk-ins" from the general area from all branches of the armed forces.

Regards,

Andy

Thanks much for the photos and update, Andy. We wanted to get down there, but events on our end kept us home. :? The new paint on the airplane and hangar looks great, we really regret not getting to be there.

An impressive group of Airborne veterans--thanks to them for their service!
