A flight attendant announced: ' People, people, we´re not picking out furniture here, find a seat and get in it !!'

Heard on an airplane: ' Ladies and gentlemen, if you wish to smoke, the smoking section on this airplane is on the wing and if you can light'em, you can smoke'em '.

Part of a flight attendant's arrival announcement: ' We'd like to thank you folks for flying with us today. And the next time you get the insane urge to go blasting through the skies in a pressurized metal tube, we hope you`ll think of us `.

Another flight attendant's comment on a less than perfect landing: ' We ask you to please remain seated as Captain Kangaroo bounces us to the terminal`.

I was on a Southwest flight into Burbank once when the pilot REALLY planted it. The flight attendant came on the PA and said, "Did we just land...or were we just shot down?!?"

"From the flight deeck this is your Captain speaking. Today's flight will beabout an hour and a half. The weather looks smooth and we should have an on time arrival. The flight attendants will be around shortly with drink service. As a side note our company boasts having some of the prettiest flight attendants in the airline industry. None of which are on this flight today."

Heard after the pilot plants a hard landing, from the Flight Attendant:

"Ladies and gentlemen, that wasn't the Captain's fault. That wasn't the First Officer's fault. That was the ASPHALT!

I was on a flight too where the Captain planted it. There were 3 guys a few rows up and judging by the haircuts and comment they must've been USAF. After the landing one of them said "Go Navy!"
