Hello Folks:
I'm still interested in a recovery in the Indonesia area, and have made some progress in researching Halmahera Island. I've been in touch with an Australian Mining company which goes out to the Kao/Miti area (where the Japanese airfields were), and they will have in answer in about a week if they've seen anything out that way.
It's nice when you can contact mining companies and such to find this information out.
