Anybody know what the status is of the very stock B-25J that was recovered from the Paul Bunyan park in Brainedd, Minnn-a-soda? Photos? story? anyone..anyone 8)

Last I saw, it was in sections, being stored at Aero Trader with the rest of their B-25s, awaiting restoration in the future. That was about 3 years ago I believe. I still remember seeing the aircraft at the park when I was really young. I'm glad it could at least be brougt to a climate that is a little better for the airframe, than northern Minnesota. It will be great to see it flying when it does.

thanks John, that is the last word I have heard about this Mitchell. I have never heard a B-25 with 28 individual cyclinders popping, I imagine it is awesome to hear...maybe someone hangin around Aero Trader can get some info and pictures. thanks again

Our B-25 "Briefing Time" with the Mid Atlantic Air Museum based in Reading, PA has individual stacks all the way around. It makes a wonderful sound popping and banging. Also very cool to see at night.
