I do hope that this remains a flying collection, and doesn't go the way of Kalamazoo, Champlin, Pond, War Eagles, Tillamook..............etc.
The Pond Museum/PSP Air Museum has flying aircraft and a plan to obtain the remainder of the Pond collection and fly most if not all of the aircraft (except statics like the SBD that the Navy owns).

OK, a few stupid questions. Is this the Paul Allen collection? Where exactly is the museum? Close to Interstate 5? A few of us are going to make a pilgrimage up to the Northwest next spring and hit Tillamook, Evergreen, MOF and this one.

IIRC, the reason Bud became a pilot for the collection was that Steve was tired of coming all the way up to Arlington for the flying days, only to have them scrubbed due to our fabulous NW weather (especially in the winter). Steve recommended Bud as a very capable substitute, with a much smaller commute.
