Ok, so I'm sitting here at work just browsing away and I see this headline, Tom Cruise shows Spielberg his cockpit.

So I decide to see what he's flying and low and behold It's a Mustang!

Couldn't believe my eyes, I would have thought he'd had enough flying after Topgun.....lol

S: Took hammer away from midget.

He was checked out in his P51 by none other than racing legend, Matt Jackson.

Tom also owns a Pitts S2-B and a King Air, if I remember correctly.

I knew he had a 'stang but I didn't know he's the one who took that sweet nose art away from us.

That's what it says on the nose, couldn't quite make it all out but now it makes sense.

Notice how all the REALLY important people sort of get shoved off to the sidelines, like A.P's. and such. I think the guy in back, who honestly I don't recoginize, should really get a medal for bravery unless he has a set of controls which I don't think that plane is a TF.

I remember Matt saying Tom Cruise did a good job flying the Mustang. If he has the patience to take the time and dedicate himself to learning to fly it, there's no reason he should not be good.

I knew Cruise had a mustang. I agree with Bill on this one. If he's taken the tme and effort to learn his craft, Why shouldn't he have one. If all the info is correct, he was also willing to put up a bunch of money to try to get the CAF P-82 back in the air. I say more power to him.
