No, unfortunately for us, Gail is in Germany for a little while and is unable to join us at Reading this year.

Ouch! Spitfire and Hurricane scrubbed. I hope they are discussing with Mr Potter whether he might send a replacement. I see it's a VWoC open house day Sat. and a Rockcliffe event Sun. so I guess not likely. :(

I've just heard that Tom Duffy will be bringing his TBM as a replacement for the Spit. Also the long range forecast calls for.....wait for it....SUN!

The Hurricane was the one airplane I wanted to see the most! Oh well, it'll be nice seeing the P-61. I'll look you guys up when I get there. I scheduled a B-17 ride, but it looks like I'm not going to have the $$$ for the ride. :x

I will be there Saturday. I won't recognize most of you, but I will be wearing a cream-colored 61st Fighter Squadron t-shirt. Any plans for a WIX photo shoot?

Zack

I will be with the Airmen's Preservation Society over in the reenactor's camp, with the B-26 radio setup...

Feel free to stop by, mention WIX board!

I'll be at the other end with American Military Medical Impressions! (Though we eat with Dan at APS!)
I wish you had a B-26 to go with the radios!

Due to circumstances, etc etc, I will be arriving Friday, rather than Thursday...

No sleep 3 days... working on radios and working... this is going to be interesting...

OK, So I was originally misinformed...

We did taxi up with President Roosevelt and Eleanor on Sat, with Lt. j. g. John F. Kennedy on Sat.

Sunday,

FDR, MacArthur, JFK, Admiral Halsey and General Stilwell, and company...

Kevin

I arrived at amost 10pm Friday, and had two great, but heat filled days on Saturday and Sunday. Didn't get out of the reenactor area till Sunday afternoon...

Tired, exhausted and beat- but enjoyed every minute!
