She'd definitely win an award at OSH (nudge, nudge, wink, wink).

Gruffy looks even better with that little bit of exhaust burned into those red feathers.

PSST, Vlado, That is not a 51, no matter what John Paul told you

I guess Vlado needed a V-12 fix and was desperate enough to fly anything.

Congrates Vlado, I just had to pull your chain

Brrrraaaaaawwwwwkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vlado did indeed visit us and fly our P-40! He did a fantastic job in Gruffy and it was great to have the opportunity to spend a few days with him.

You're a true gentleman Vlado!

Thanks everyone!!
That was a fantastic day...Great weather, great skies and great planes...The Paul Family are the most hosipitable and their museum is top notch. (Wonderful lunches served each day over lots of plane talk!) I can hardly believe they entrusted their 'sacred' Parrot to a visitng pilot!! (Yes, I got my V-12 fix too!).
I had visions of history when I took ole' Gruffy up.......Pearl Harbor, China, North Africa all came to mind. Its awe inspiring to feel and sense the living history under those rudder pedals.
Thanks again JC!!
VL
