I heard that one was killed and 30/40 were injured. Its on its way to San Diego for repairs. We departed San Diego this afternoon but I was hoping to get a chance to see it....

That's a scary deal and my thoughts are with the crew.
We had a major flight deck fire on the Nimitz with multiple fatals
and destroyed a/c. The most frightening thing I've ever been
part of.
