Well, I was referring to the aircraft (B-25)that dropped bombs, tor-peed-owes, and carried machineguns used in shooting down enemy aircraft. So I naturally lean to the "combat" side of the forum. I will have to admit, that the C-47/DC-3 whatever you want to call her, was a major player in supporting probably every branch of the armed forces, no matter the associate Allied military forces. Hats off to both.

Didn't Eisenhower say that 'The Jeep , the Dakota and the Landing Craft were the three tools that won the war.'
