Seeing Snort that low is a common occurence. The way I see it, he's in his element, and if his skills enable him to fly that way safely, so be it.

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

Naw, that's about as low as we do it here in Texas. Should have been at Breckenridge years ago. This coming Friday night I'm having Fried Catfish with BBQ on Saturday night. Just like the old days, but its kind of hard to find in San Diego though

Probably get shot down here, but in my opinion that is too low, does'nt leave much room for error, freak gust of wind, mechanical failure etc.

From a demonstartion point of view the folks at the back of the crowd aren't going to see much are they?
Should be more of a case of showing off the aircraft than pilot 'skills'.

Gotta be Snort- I hear that is his signature. I friend of mine has some pictures of him doing this with a Corsair at Terre Haute in 2005- IF I can get permission I will post them.

I was in Thunderbird in the CC position waiting on a taxi way to takeoff for our part of the show when he came around and it felt ( sure that there was plenty of room) like he was headed straight for us. I think I have a vague idea what a Japaneses or North Korean soilder was seeing in the last few minutes of his existance- pretty darn impressive bet pretty scary at the same time.

Maybe he just wanted to check those handicapped parking permits hanging in the vehicles.
