What airplanes used radio parts:
BC-AO-232 marked Signal Corps Radio Control box, made by Western Electric
BC-434-F Signal Corps Radio Control box, made by Fairchild Aviation
thanks

The BC-434 is part of the SCR-269 radio set, and the BC-232 is part of the SCR-183. I could not find a listing for BC-AO-232.

Not sure what they were used on.
Good Luck!

The BC-434 is the remote control head for the SCR-269 Radio Compass Receiver system. The system was used on large aircraft, including B-17, B-24, C-47, et al. Typically, two BC-434's were used. On the B-17, one was installed at the navigator's station and the other was on the ceiling of the flight deck along with the command radio control heads. Have a look at this web site for lots of detailed info on the SCR-269 system and photos of its parts:

I couldn't find anything on the BC-AO-232.

Cheers!
