"States rights" sounds good. But there wasn't anything "right" about slavery, I've got to agree with them Yankee dogs on that, and I'm not referring to Roger Clemens either.
Wouldn't it have been great if the slavery question could have been settled in peaceful negotiation without the loss of a half million men?

This is my opinion but the comments like "your papers are not in order" , "tyrannical" and "despotism", "We Southern Yokels tried to warn the Yankees"...etc is not on topic as much as it is just throwing hyperbolic opinion and rhetoric and does not really add much to the conversation. Except to try to offer a little comic relief...which may be needed.

Just trying to keep everybody happy and on point.

I'm not sure about the FA-18 piece. But I think what's going on with the F-14s is the goverment is secretly reassembling the Turkeys and the Phoneix aim-54, now that our 'friends' the Russkies are flying Bears over the carriers again.
