Hi everyone... Scott, our fearless WIX leader, is stepping off a Southwest Airlines flight from Manchester, NH to Phoenix Sky Harbor today at 6:00 PM... Arid-zona best be ready!

Here is the tenative plan for Scott and I over the next few days.

Wednesday - Local Airports, Falcon Field, Williams, Chandler (lunch maybe), and perhaps Papago. If anyone wants to meet up, let us know! We'd like to see if there is anyone to get us on base at PHX to photo the gate guards too...

Thursday - Pima and Tucson. We are hoping to go down with WIX member Pooner for a tour of the boneyard, Pima A&SM, and some of the scrapyards. If anyone wants to tag along, let us know!

Friday - Departure for Chino! Scott and I will meet up with WIX members at the CAF AZ Wing parking lot at 6:00 AM and will caravan towards mecca, er, Chino! Stopping along the way at PSAM and hoping to get to Yanks before they close.

Friday Night - WIX meetup for Pizza & Beer at: Grazianos Pizza & Italian Restaurant

Information and Post your RSVP at: http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=204445#204445

Saturday and Sunday - POF Airshow Baby! Be sure to be right in front of the POF T-Shirt booth at 10 am for the group WIX photo op on SATURDAY. The "Hot Ramp" closes then but the airshow doesn't start until 11 am.

Caution - Scott will be begging for a warbird ride, so have pity on him and offer one!

Monday - Recouperation & more PHX area warbird spotting... anyone have access to the F-104 at Williams Gateway?

Tuesday - Scott goes back to New England.

More may be added! If you'd like to schedule a meetup, call my cell at 480-309-0454

Hmmm, probably around 10 am I figure... gives us time for breakfast and such. Plus CAF opens at 10.

Call my cell if you can make it? Is the P-51 still there?

Tell them to do it on the way out... I think he might be trying to smuggle some contraband F-14 parts back to MA!

Anyone have any contacts with Gosshawk in Casa Grande that might be able to get us inside to see what they have going on?

Ryan, I don't have Dave Goss's phone number handy, but if you find it I would just phone him, he has always been friendly as for as I know.

The P-51 is over at Stellar but it will be going to Chino on Friday. If you want, we can go over there after Falcon. I know Dave Goss pretty well and he has invited me over to his shop several times but haven't had the opportunity to go. Maybe now is the time. See you at Falcon tomorrow. Maybe we can get Pooner out of his cave and visit a while too unless he's still buried in his PV. Whaddya say Robert?
