Hi All,

Recently I have been doing some work on the European portion of the Locator database. I am returning to the US sections as I would like to see my rough notes converted into searchable/viewable entries in the database.

I thought I would be nice to at least have all of the American Legion Posts where aircraft are displayed listed. So I have done this and the first draft is complete. You can find the list here (it is long)...

...If you don't mind could you look for your local legion in this list if they have an aircraft displayed and confirm I have the information correct? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide. Look for the big red + symbols. Those are the entries for which I know I need some help.

Mike

P.S. I have noted the movement of the Sabre from the legion to the Perrin museum. The change just hasn't been uploaded yet.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Actually that is a VFW and those are my photos! ;-) Thanks anyway though. I appreciate the spirit of contribution.

I received one update though the website for a Legion in Georgia. There must be others on WIX with aircraft displayed at a near-by legion!

Mike
