I'd say 1/48. The 109 may be the old Revell kit, and the 262 possibly Monogram. Nice job on the camo. 8)

Umm,.....yes Peter thank you for that insight (**smacks forehead** why is it always the Canadians?, Shay thinks to himself :wink: ). They are in fact models, but that is not what I was referring to. I was asking more along the line or model types and units.

Actually 109 is Hasegawa 1/32 and the Swallow is the 1/48 monogram

But what units are depicted? I know hardly anything when comes to Luftwaffe units and markings.

Sorry..thought it was another April Fool's prank. The 109 is a K-model, but as for the units, I'm not enough of a Luftwaffephile to tell ofhand.

Looks like the work of Les King. :)

Based on the camo, the Bf 109K-4 is most likely from the WNr 332xxx production batch, and could be from any number of different 1. Staffeln... the absence of any other identifying mark means your guess is as good as mine. You could make a good argument for a 1./JG 11 bird, perhaps... The 262 seems more clear-cut, the aircraft of JV 44 carried very boring, uniform schemes with no tail bands or other extraneous markings so I'd say this bird is very representative of that unit.
